Privacy notice Information on personal data

We inform you that your personal data is being processed under the responsibility of the Direction de la Communication et de la Marque (Communication and Brand Department) of Société nationale SNCF (2, Place aux Etoiles – 93200 Saint-Denis).

Société nationale SNCF has appointed a Data Protection Officer (dpo-sncf@sncf.fr).

The purposes of processing your personal data are the organization and the follow-up of the invitations to the “European Railway Summit 2022” event, which is scheduled for Monday 21 February 2022.

Its legal basis is consent.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, it being specified that the withdrawal of said consent has no retroactive effect on the processing already carried out.

The answers to the questions preceded by an asterisk are compulsory and failure to answer them may jeopardize your registration for the European Railway Summit 2022 event. The other questions are optional and failure to answer them will have no consequences.

The data will only be kept for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes listed above, i.e. for the entire duration of the organization of the European Railway Summit 2022 event.

The data is only used by the relevant authorized departments and will only be disclosed to the following recipients: Société nationale SNCF, the company With Up Com and its services provider Klipso.

In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, any data subject whose personal data is processed shall have the rights, under the conditions and within the limits provided for by the regulations, to obtain access to his/her personal data, the rectification and erasure of his/her personal data, to restrict processing concerning him/her, as well as the rights to define guidelines regarding the processing of his/her personal data after his/her death, to object processing of his/her data and the right to request his/her personal data portability. 

In this regard, you can exercise your rights, providing proof of your identity if necessary, by contacting the Direction de la Communication et de la Marque (Communications and Brand Department) of Société nationale SNCF via email to the following address evenements@sncf.fr

Furthermore, if you consider that the processing of your personal data constitutes a violation of the applicable regulations, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (National Commission on Informatics and Liberty - CNIL) or the supervisory authority of the member state where your habitual residence is located, your place of work, or the place where the violation was allegedly committed.
